Initially you will receive a basic price quote for the procedure, required hospital nights, airfare, lodging and so on, as well as information about the medical procedure, the doctor’s credentials and background information, and accommodations.

Once you decide that you are interested in and would like to meet the Doctor, your Client Advocate will ask you to submit your medical records (You will need to obtain a copy of your medical records including MRI results and X-Rays for your surgeon for his/her evaluation and diagnosis), and will then schedule a pre-op conference call to meet your surgeon abroad and to address any questions or concerns you may have. Prior to the teleconference you will receive a comprehensive medical questionnaire to complete. Your CA will discuss it with you and make sure all the information is accurate so that your Doctor has as much information as possible.

After the conference with the Doctor. the Client Advocate will be able  prepare the final proposal, which will include cost for all services except those that you may elect to have additionally in India (well check, heart scan, etc).

The CA will work with you to schedule your procedure and finalize your travel arrangements.

Now you are ready to depart to your destination and Hospital abroad. You will be met at the airport by Med Tours International Case Manager (CM) abroad who will assist you with check-in into the hospital, your hotel or guesthouse depending on your specific circumstance. You will meet with your Doctor for the initial consultation and pre-op testing either the same day or the next. Your CM will accompany you to this appointment.

After your hospital stay, you CM will accompany you to the Hotel or Guesthouse and make sure you are comfortable with your accomodations and to see if you need anything additional such as a walker, a cane, crutches, medications etc.

During your recovery period your CM will keep in touch and be available to you 24/7 to answer any questions or to assist if any issues arise.

At the conclusion of your stay, the CM will arrange transport to the airport and assist you with arranging a wheel chair if needed.

Even after you are home, your CA and/or your CM can assist you if you have questions for your Surgeon in India.
