Are the Physicians and Surgeons as Skilled as in the USA?
Most of Physicians and Surgeons we work with have been schooled, trained, and/or practiced in North America or Europe and many are world renowned. All are highly-qualified, English-speaking with excellent reputations. |

Are the Hospitals ok?
To become a partner Hospital with Med Tours International, a hospital must be at a minimum comparable to a US hospital. This means it is clean, has up to date equipment and that its level of service is at least that of a US hospital. We inspect our Hospital Partners frequently to monitor these standards and if a Hospital falls below our standards they are released as a partner until their standards have improved.
Our hospital partners are equipped with the latest state-of-the art facilities and the most recent equipment. Robotic surgery for example was initiated in India about five years ago and it has just recently been introduced in North America. Similarly most of the hospitals maintain the latest equipment, including the 64 slide CT Scan. The infection rate at our hospitals is also less than many hospitals in North America. Can I take a companion?
We encourage taking someone aveling is always more enjoyable when you have company. Your companion(s) can remain with you throughout treatment and recuperation.
Upon your arrival abroad, if you have the strength and stamina, we encourage you and your companion to take in the local sights and suggest that you plan your activities prior to surgery or extend your stay after the prescribe recovery period.
Our packages are custom tailored to accommodate your companion at very reasonable prices. We have already negotiated with our affiliate hospitals, hotels, and transportation companies for your companion to stay at these facilities on a complimentary basis. Since our packages are “All-Inclusive” your companions are just charged for their meals and of course, the airfare.
Your companion will never be alone, or bored during your surgery and stay in the ICU. Our Case Managers will look after them and, if they so desire, accompany them on shopping and sightseeing excursions. |

Is it really affordable?
Having a medical procedure abroad is a viable alternative to the more costly medical care in the US, for many reasons. The favorable currency exchange rate alone can mean significant savings for those with U.S. dollars. Though it may seem too good to be true, even factoring in the cost for an extended recuperation, traveling with a companion and rountrip airfare will still be far less than what the procedure will cost in the U.S. because the health care costs in those countries that offer Medical Tourism is much lower. |

How does Med Tours Intl stay in touch with clients?
Our Staff prides itself to be highly responsive to our clients. We realize because of health concerns a speedy answer may be called for. All of us are readily available by phone and email seven days per week
Once abroad you will be met at the airport by our staff in the Host Country. S/he will be your Case Manager throughout your stay there and will provide you with a user friendly mobile phone for your use. This will allow you to call your Case Manager whenever you need something and also to call home upon your arrival. The hotel/guest house where you stay will have Internet Access so you can bring your lap top along to stay in touch with family and friends. |

We actually encourage the involvement of our client's doctors in the process. If yours is open to this, we will be happy to arrange for a tele-conference between all parties: you, your physician state side and abroad. Your doctor will likely find that the hospitals in our preferred network are among the top facilities in the world, with better staff-to-patient ratio and better technology that at many U.S. hospitals. |

What happens if something goes wrong?
We will do everything possible to provide you with a "problem-less" experience. Our staff here and abroad are well trained to handle all emergencies and our CUSTOMER SUPPORT is unparalelled. Your Host Country Manager will be available to you at the "touch" of your phone around the clock, should you need it. You will find him or her to be not only highly competent but truly caring with your welfare foremost in their minds. Should unforeseen complications arise they will facilitate immediate contact with the appropriate medical professionals to assist you. They will stay by your side until you are taken care of. If needed they will get in touch with family members and take care of any other issue that arises as well. |

What is your "Deposit" Policy?
Unless your case is complex, you are not required to remit payment of any sort until you have had a conference call with your physician abroad and have made the decision to move forward. |

What is your "Refund" Policy?
We understand that this is a big decision. You have made an important choice to move forward with your Medical Tour abroad. In the unlikely event your plans change and you decide not to proceed with your medical Tour Package, we will refund your payment charge you only for costs we have already incurred. (Approximately $250). |

We have personally approved each and every hotel and Guest House that is included in any of our medical tourism packages. Prior to incorporating each hotel into our network, we have personally visited and inspected each location in order to ensure that it met with our high standards and quality assurance.
